Hi.
I managed to do it with html code in the pagebanner area. But for the less experienced user (end user), it might better with a button or some other option for that.
instead of manually typing:
<a href=http://192.168.2.100/datenbank/index.php?>
<img src="http://192.168.2.100/database/galleries/wmlogo.jpg" alt="The database homepage" title="The database homepage" />
</a><p>Database wuhu!!</p>
Just my thoughts :)

In Piwigo 2.1, we have seriously improved the theme manager. For example a theme can propose a "configure" page. MontblancXL has one. P@t has planned to add an "upload image for banner" option.
I agree that it is much more user friendly to propose this feature than saying to users "write HTML code on your own". Let's wait for the MonblancXL solution before integrating it in core.

You and the team are doing an awesome job!
I really enjoy piwigo and the usercomunity vs development-team workflow!
