How to use/clear caddie

I must admit that I don't quite understand how the caddie works.  My first question is really quite simple:  How do I remove things from the caddie?

Next, I'm adding lots of albums to my web site.  My current process is:

1) Upload the photos using the web interface into a new album
2) Select "The Whole Set"
3) Synchronize Metadata
4) Generate Multiple Size Images

It occurred to me that it might be possible to upload multiple albums at once, then select all of the photos in the caddie and execute steps 2-4, and then clear the caddie.  Is this possible?

Re: How to use/clear caddie

to empty the caddie go the Batch Manager, select Caddie in the filters list, selected the pictures you want to remove and choose action "Remove from caddie"

Re: How to use/clear caddie

So if someone goes to my piwigo site and they click "Add To Caddie" , how can they log into Batch Manager being as they don't have access to that area. They can't view their caddie. Why can't they just click on a button that says "View Caddie". Kind of like viewing your Cart before checking out. How can customers send me a list of what is in their caddie? It seems to be a not clear thought through button.
