Re: [Plugin] gdThumb - Masonry style thumbs in your gallery - 1.0.20

Just reverted to 1.0.7 (It's what I had in my download folder)... and my big thumb is back with the image full width at the bottom.

This is a screen shot with 1.0.7:

Re: [Plugin] gdThumb - Masonry style thumbs in your gallery - 1.0.20

I hate to say it.. but I think it's even more broken now.

I removed 1.0.7 by deactivating it, then deleting it.

Installed 1.0.11 from the "Other plugins available" section, activated.

Now, none of the check boxes are checkable or uncheckable under the GDThumb config.

They aren't grayed out.. but.. they just aren't changeable.  The text fields and the drop downs are.

Also, I'm back to the small icon.

I tried Dragon (default configuration). Small problem* with thumb near next wide. (www - dragon is theme active)

Modus no problem.

* I turn on "elastic mode" and it's ok.

Re: [Plugin] gdThumb - Masonry style thumbs in your gallery - 1.0.20

from what I can see you have different number of thumbs in each row.
different themes have different paddings/margins which could affect how thumbs are sized.
I did reproduce your layout by resizing the browser window making it wide/narrower and I have had both expected and "wrong" result within current theme
I do not have solution for you

Re: [Plugin] gdThumb - Masonry style thumbs in your gallery - 1.0.20

It's resolution, 1024 it's too small.

Only Opera 12.1x show it ~ok in 1024x . For other new Chrome, IE, Firefox, minimum with wide thumb is 1366x, +,

Re: [Plugin] gdThumb - Masonry style thumbs in your gallery - 1.0.20

this information is useful, but I am not sure I can do much about it as math there is very simple - try to fit as much tiles as possible while keeping image ratio intact as much as possible

in case of your page, combination of landscape then portrait then panoramic photo throws everything off for the row

I do not know how page is sorted, but just for the sake of the argument try to replace "Stary dworzec Łódź Fabryczna NCŁ" album thumb with one which would be also portrait oriented and see if it would help.
There are so many combinations of thumb resolutions which can be encountered it would be hard to make it universally perfect, but let's try to find solution for your setup

Re: [Plugin] gdThumb - Masonry style thumbs in your gallery - 1.0.20

Hi Serge.

1. Is it possible to alter the thumb/album overlay in gdthumbs ?
e.g.

Settings...
Resize - Scale thumbnails
Overly Bottom - Title Display Mode (Album)
Overly Bottom - Title Display Mode (Photo)
Hide - Metadata Display Mode

Can I change the color/opacity/size of the popup hover overlay ?
It's too large (vertically) for me.

2. Can I have the 'filename' appear in the hover overlay, not 'Picture xxx' ?

Thank you much for this nice plug-in GDThumb - 1.0.11

for your settings you should only see photo/album title since metadata is hidden, i.e. it should be one line with overlay adjusted vertically to fit your content
you can experiment with "Prevent word wrap" setting to see if it would make it better for you
As far as colors and opacity, you can use custom css to adjust it for your gallery - http://piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=user_ … q:css_code
PS: If you are using GD theme you can include custom CSS from admin section

Simply uncheck "Normalize Photo Title"

Re: [Plugin] gdThumb - Masonry style thumbs in your gallery - 1.0.20

I would like to ask for feedback on new overlay mode - see here link1. Compare it with link 2

New mode right now applies only to albums and shows title/# of photos and album icon.

What other info would be useful? What info is applicable to photo thumbs?

PS: Please note this mode uses bootstrap css icons so it would require GreyDragon theme at this time.
