The function duplicate_picture_url() is used in the core to generate some links on the picture page (like the "add to favorites" and "EXIF view" buttons). When a plugin stores data in GET parameters, duplicate_picture_url() does not preserve them.

This breaks some features with the Fotorama plugin, as reported here:

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix or work around this issue?
