We use Piwigo for photo management in our organisation. It is a worldwide social moevemnt and hence has several members. I am part of team that support Communications efforts and my team are admins to the piwigo account. However, we do get requests from members in other parts of the world, to upload photos into our piwigo gallery by themselves. We encourage that.

But we notice that, when we create a user account for such people, we have to give them an "Admin" right and this also allows them to access already uploaded albums and with options to edit/delete etc. This is a risky factor for us.

We would like to create a role that just allows one to upload into a new/exxisting album, but the alrdeay uploaded photos should be forbidden from being deleted, edited, downloaded etc.

Wouldnt this be possible?

Otherwise, we are quite happy with Piwigo and what it has done for this social movement.
