I installed Piwigo 2.8.2 on my Synology DS215+.

Is working very nice, but...
When I try run different scripts that are time consuming, such syncronise gallery or generate different sizes of photos, it fails with "504 gateway timeout".

In the new operating system DSM 6.0, I cannot gain root privileges in order to fine tune webserver parameters and I already contacted Synology support for this matter.

Till they will give me a solution, I found very useful this script created by Poul Serek:

I adapted it to create all sizes, starting with XXL, but the quality of output is not quite the same. Small difference, but exist!

I presume that ImageMagick parameters that are not the same.

Please, can you provide a clue regarding the standard parameters that are passed to ImageMagick in this resize proccess?

Maybe it will be useful to include this kind of tool in Piwigo distribution.
