Portrait photo on Categories page

Hi - I have just set up Piwigo, using the Bootstrap Darkroom theme. All looking good, but...one of my categories has a thumbnail photo which is portrait. At the moment, the front page displays all of the categories with a landscape thumbnail, so the photo is truncated. Is there a way to change that?

Thanks

Re: Portrait photo on Categories page

On the photo's properties page, go to the "Center of Interest" tab and select the portion of the photo you want Piwigo to use for the thumbnail.

Re: Portrait photo on Categories page

Thanks for the suggestion. That makes a difference when a square thumbnail is shown (for example, when you are looking at another photo in the same album, the thumbnail of the problem photo on the row beneath is now correct). But on the front page, the photo for the album is still landscape, and is still centred on the middle of the portrait photo - no head or legs!

Ideally I would like it to switch to a portait image for that album, but so far I have not found a way of doing that.

Re: Portrait photo on Categories page

If you regenerate the thumbnail for the album, it should reflect the new center-of-interest as well.

That being said, I am using square thumbnails everywhere ...
