Read the instructions at the bottom of plg's post. Thanks.
Thanks for the update!
I'm running a build directly from git and am noticing some SQL errors regarding some missing columns. I checked the upgrade file and it reported my DB structure was up to date...
Is there a different upgrade script I should be running?
Right on. Thanks for the update. I'm going to try it out.
Piwigo 14 enters the "release candidates" stage.
First, catch up with what was introduced in Piwigo 14 beta versions:
* topic:32918
* topic:33026
* topic:33105
Now, what's new compared to 14.0.0beta3:
* many error/warning/deprecated messages fixed for PHP 8.2
* new search filters bar compatible with many themes (including Bootstrap Darkroom)
* new search filters with contextual values: if you filter on tag "birds", the list of values for "posted date" will take into account that you only want the posted dates of "birds" photos.
* new "search by words" filter now include the "author" field
* auto-detect duplicates on upload
* new API method pwg.images.setCategory
* performance improved to calculate number of orphans
Nice looking details on dashboard storage bar. For each "category" of files, Piwigo tell you how many files for each file extensions and the filesize they take on your storage capacity.
When you edit a photo (or an album), the link to go visit the photo in the gallery becomes much more obvious.
