I am new here..

My name is Kamrien and I'd just like to say hi to everyone. As everybody knows that nowadays forums are the best source of Knowledge, and through forums we can learn a lot. When I heard of the community I thought it would be wonderful to expand to a new community, meet like minded people and share thoughts and services with fellow members.I am sure there's a lot of interesting topics and discussions happening on this forum and wanted to check it out.I was looking for a new forum to join and the higher powers of Google has brought me here! I look forward to meeting you all and wish you the best of success.

Re: I am new here..

Good to see you Anthony.  I've been using Piwigo for a month now - does that qualify as "I am new here..."?

Having come from Pikfu and previously used Fotopic for over 5 years before its demise, I am pleased to say that Piwigo is a great 'successor'.

Currently I am working with Pierrick to optimise the transfer of 'back history' from Fotopic Backups, including not only a hierarchy of Albums (Collections) but also the Descript.ion Image Descriptions and the Album / Collection Dates and Descriptions.

Hi Tadjio,
Good to here from you again mate, how are the transfers going? Half my site is up and running still a few private "collections"/albums to set up in Piwigo private (as in family not the other lol ) Just waiting for their release from Fotopic/Pikfu to complete the transition. I think Piwigo are fantastic guys to work with and Pierrick and team are very helpful my  thanks to everyone.
