I made a modification not an Extension for my Piwigo. Mabey other people also want to use this in there Piwigo installation. I tested this in Piwigo 2.3.3. default theme.

Just unpack the files in the root of your Piwigo installation. Now there is a download.php file in the root of your installation. Open the file and change the database information to your settings.

Start Piwigo and you will ha a download link under your Albums.
