Hi Zaphod,
Is it possible to disable the zoom in Stripped?

You mean for displaying HD picture?
It is not possible to disable it, but I think it may be quite easy to add the option.

I have been experimenting with Original Photo Sizes of varying size, from 960x640 up to 5184x3456.
As recommended by Pierrick, I have set my Stripped Theme "Image Size" to the default of M-Medium 792x594.
I have also set the "HD Image Size" to "Original".
If the Original is substantially larger than the "Image Size" then the Zoom option is displayed.
If the Original is small, about the same size as the "Image Size" or less, the Zoom Magnifying Glass is disabled.
I think this might be the answer you're looking for Pierrick?
(Incidentally, this doesn't appear to be an exact science. With the above Image Size, the Zoom Magnifying Glass appears for original photos sizes of 2048x1538 and above, but the zoom is disabled for 1620x1080 and less :(
Can anyone explain that?

With Stripped version 2.2.7, the Zoom does not upsize photo but is sometimes useless, see http://gegefam.piwigo.com/picture?/1240 … y_2012_baf

I have looked at the example Pierrick posted and indeed one click is useless but two clicks does enlarge the image slightly.

I've planned to add an option "none" for HD picture size.
I'll also try to an automatic test to see if the real HD size is the same that the real image size.
(the test will be disabled if the webmaster selected the same size for image & HD)

If it enlarges the image it's a bug... what browser do you use?

I am using Windows Internet Explorer 9.
I have just checked again and it only happens if I am using Zoom in IE9. At 100% it doesn't happen for Pierrick's image.
At 150% you can also move the image around within the frame with the mouse.
It seems to depend on the original (HD) image size relative to the screen size.
On my gallery one click gives me a larger image and two clicks gives me the full size original which I am happy with.

It seems perfect to me :-)

Yes but on the example plg gave, the image size is the maximum size available.
So it should not appear larger than the one displayed first.
(or only with very small screen configurations)

Yes, but that's not the case of the link plg gave.
The question is not to always disable zoom, but to permit the webmaster to disable it, and to automatically disable it when it's useless.

I just published version 2.3.0:
-> there is an option to activate (or not) HD picture lightbox
(in the end I find it a lot better than on option "none" for HD picture size)
-> if the HD picture lihtbox is activated in the options and for a particular image, the dimensions of the HD image are the same as the displayed picture, the Lightbox is not available for this particular image
-> if the webmaster make the same choice for "image size" and "HD image size" and the Lightbox option is chosen, the HD ligthbox is always available.
(I take it as a deliberate choice for the webmaster to force the lighbox availability)
I make as much testing as I could but there may have some bugs... I hope not.
