Full_Background is inspired of a gallery html. It is a theme which is more appropriate for galleries of medium size, the time of load that can be long for big galleries.

Love it. I'm looking at it now to see if I can make it meet my needs.
Specifically, I'll want the home page to show all available albums to choose from. Right now it looks like it defaults to the most recent album.
After I look at the code, I may have some questions for you on specifically where to change this. :)
This is exactly the type of creative theme development I was referring to in one of my other posts. Great work and thanks!

Hi
I love this theme and would like to use it for my Gallery.... Very nice...
However I looked at your demo and when I install the theme it looks nothing like yours.... :(
I know I can switch on and off menus but I dont have the bar along the top, so many things are missing from mine....
I guess you have to have some PHP or CSS knowledge to make it look as good as your?

Yes here is URL
conistonmedia.webhop.net/piwigo
I don't have the menutree plugin installed. I normally use the Elegant theme.
Best wishes

UPDATE...
Sorry. Yes all fixed.. I DID have RV MenuTree plugin. However could you advise on the following..
Select a Catagory. The pictures are in a row down the left. Can the be spread out horizontally rather than vertically? Also if you select a thumb from the list the resulting photo is very small... Where can I change ths..
Best wishes
Derek

Interesting. Mine doesn't list the pictures down the left side like yours does.
Mine has the same look/feel as the categories do, where you have to scroll through each picture and it "rolls" to the next one.
I wonder if you have a plugin installed that is making it behave like this. Mine is a new test environment, so I only have a few plugins installed.

Yes..
I'm going through my plugins and uninstalling them until it does wat I would like it to. It's the small picture when you select one from the Catagory that I really want to fix....

Hello Guys
@Derec
Excuse me, I'm not sure I understand.
if you wan't change the size of thumb in the picture page go in the template folder open Picture_content.tpl
remplace the code by this
<img src="{$current.unique_derivatives.xsmall->get_url()}" alt="{$ALT_IMG}" id="theMainImage" title="{if isset($COMMENT_IMG)}{$COMMENT_IMG|@strip_tags:false|@replace:'"':' '}{else}{$current.TITLE|@replace:'"':' '} - {$ALT_IMG}{/if}">
@Darryl
in the administration create the "small" derivative, after they will be in the cache to Piwigo

Hi,
I love the theme as well, could you list which plugins are supported and won't break the layout!?

I also love this theme. A complete new idea, great.
I played aroud a while. Because for the Album overview page the theme is to confusing I tried to use it only for some parts of my gallery. Therefor I used the NBC Theme Changer Plugin.
There I get an error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare modify_nb_thumbnail_page() (previously declared in /www/htdocs/w005f3d5/preyer2012/galerie/themes/stripped/themeconf.inc.php:66) in /www/htdocs/w005f3d5/preyer2012/galerie/themes/Full_Background/themeconf.inc.php on line 26
Is it possible to change it, that it shows all albums on one site? So that the visitors can see whats all on the page.

How can I get a copy of the new theme....? I love the drop down menu's, and the over all GUI is easy to navigate through...
If someone could help me get a link to that theme download, that would be wonderful... Thank U!!!
Hey there!
I love this theme also. Great work!!
What in my opinion is a bit confusing is the navigation. Visitors normally expect the common "scroll arrows", to scroll between the different fotos. Those arrows are normally positioned to the left and to the right of the foto. In the case of full_background there are at the left of the foto, pointing to the top and to the ground. IMHO a little difficult to understand. Another thing is that those arrows are very thin, difficult to see. First time I tested out the theme I was not able to find them.
Ah, and then this small button at the top right of the preview window, which is for the full version of the foto. This also is very difficult to find on some kind of fotos (specially those with bright colors). Same goes for the I(nfo) button.
The rest is perfect!!
Many thanks to the author!
cheers, Klinki
Ah.. what I forgot:
The user normally expects the full version of the image by clicking on the preview (thumbnail).
Salud!

Hello
excuse me for my late reply, i have crash my computer (format and resettlement).
@Yogie: I test and change the theme for it to work with more theme possible. A new version is coming soon.
@alexpreyer: I think full_background don't work with this pluggin, Full_Background declare the number of thumbnail per page, if the pluggin also stated: it is imcompatible. I test and confirm again later.
@icLogic: http://piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=649
@Klinki: you are right, I think using gray icon in the new version
