are you sure this is the Embedded Videos file ?
this is located in a folder "extension_488", why ? if you rename plugin folders according to ids on the plugins repository, 488 is [extension by winson] Fancybox For Piwigo
moreover I hard coded the folder name of the plugin into "gvideo" (original name of the plugin), it souldn't work at all if the folder is renamed in something else

Hello mistic100
No haven't renamed anything, just installed the plugin and used.
I have set 'Embedded Videos' to place the youtube video in the same album as images that can be opened by winson's Fancybox For Piwigo (Lightbox)
You can see it here
Http://sunderlandmountaineeringclub.org … 7/start-15
Any suggestions as to if fixable (please)

so it's a problem with fancybox, not directly Embedded Videos
but I think you have a real problem with the plugin folder

I've emailed Winson to see if he can give a opinion/fix - hopefully this can be fixed
As for the possible 'problem with the plugin folder' ? I've only ever imported plugins from the site interface, so its not my fault (says me with an innocent face).
If there is a problem with the plugin folder how would I know/fix ?

i double checked my gallery and the SVN repo : there is no problem
I thought Winson uses SVN : the repo exists and is named "Fancybox", so the plugin folder in Piwigo should be "Fancybox" too
but he doesn't and chose to name it "extension_488", sounds very strange for me, but ok, it works :-)

Hello Winson
Since that last 'FancyBox Lightbox' upgrade Piwigo tells me each time i use the Admin panel that a new version of 'FancyBox Lightbox' is available, the new version is the same as the installed version and upgrading makes no difference. Next time again the same upgrade is advised.
uninstalling and reinstalling makes no difference

sorry, i am not exactly understand what you means, if you just upgrade the extention from admin panel, it's should be fine.

no it doesn't, version 1.5.1 always appears in admin.php?page=plugins&tab=update
because in the main.inc.php file you didn't change the version, it's still 1.5, so Piwigo thinks there is an upgrade

oh, yes, sorry, i forgot to change the version in this file~~
so how should i do now? should i need to create a new version for update this file? or just update it in svn should be fine?

you must create a version 1.5.2
