Hi Piwigo Team,

* 2013-05-05 : 2.6.0beta1
* 2013-06-05 : 2.6.0beta2
* 2013-07-05 : 2.6.0beta3
* 2013-08-06 : 2.6.0RC1 = deadline for changes in language files
* 2013-08-20 : 2.6.0RC2
* 2013-09-03 : 2.6.0
Please tell what you plan to work on for this 2.6.

Here what I would like to take the time to work on:
* size "Automatic" (plugin Autosize is just "too complicated")
* navigation icons over the photo, just like Stripped does [Forum, topic 17734] show HD, improvements
* default size [Forum, topic 20400] Evolution : Set a default size/dimention for thumbnails& picture page
* upload: list failed photos
* single graphical theme for emails (no more "black bacgkround" emails)
* search.php: auto-complete for tags instead of huge checkbox list
* [Edit Album > Permissions], tell if there are private photos
* new design on User Manager (datatables)
* permission inheritance on albums [Forum, post 136153 by plg in topic 20559] Group permissions with registered users
* Elegant White
* more antialiased icons
* use JpegMetaData (from AMetadata plugin) as EXIF/IPTC reader and improve metadata management in core

I've seen that and also checked statistics: PHP 5.0 is not used, and 5.1is less tHan 3% of all 5.x PHP install
I think it's time to raise a little bit our requirements

I agree. PHP 5.2 is very old (almost 7 years) and developement of PHP itself goes faster last years any many interesting features have been added. But the more important performance are more and more important. It's time to update !!!

- For me - I would like to make web api responses more consistent and speed up encoding. However this will break some responses sent to clients. Particularly there will be no more "_content" in serialized json / php out of nowhere ...
