I'm testing out Piwigo as a replacement for my current Gallery application. In particular, I'm thrilled to see the FTP + Sync option, as that is in line with my current approach. However, when I use that option, I'm noticing that the thumbnail and other image sizes are not generated until the first time a page is visited. While I can see that is good from the perspective of not generating images you may not need, it would be really nice if there was a way to generate some images in batch. Is that possible and I'm missing something? I know I looked at an older version of Piwigo and there was the ability to explicitly generate thumbnails, but that now appears to be gone.
I've seen similar questions related to this, but nobody that appeared to be using FTP + Sync (versus upload). I'm running version 2.5.0 at this point on Bluehost.com.
Thanks for any insights,
Craig

Batch Manager is still there and I use it to generate the full set of images after an upload.
I used FTP to folder, sync, then batch manager to generate thumbs then the rest. I do it just so the visitors don't get slow load times as it generates images. Also to prevent 20 visitors making the site slow as the server tries to generate the images.

Ahh... I didn't realize that that would work for FTP + Sync. Will "Last Import" work as I would expect?

Last import is what it says it is.
As I upload for each event then I just choose the event album and just batch that. I have 137,953 photos online and it took a while to generate them all.
