Hi,
I installed oAuth
Registered as developer on facebook
Created the app
Disabled sandbox mode for the app
Copied details to the oAuth config page
Clicked on Facebook icon on my gallery and it opened window to Register a user with my facebook developer username, which I did.
I got an email from gallery to the facebook user email address confirming registration.
The user is in user list.
But I am stuck in registration stage and cannot login this user.
I cleared all cookies etc and click on Facebook icon, enter facebook email address and password but instead of logging in I just get gallery user registration page with facebook username filled in and message at top saying "Your registration is almost done, please complete the registration form."
If I try and type facebook user name and password in normal gallery login area it says Invalid Password
Any ideas?

the aim of oAuth is to not provide any credential to the website so your last try is a nonsense :)
a simple question : did you validated the register page ?
personnaly it works well (test: http://www.strangeplanet.fr/piwigo-test/)
and give the url of your website

Yes.
I just tried again with another facebook username with same result.
When you try and log-in with a new facebook user the gallery goes to the registration page.
After typing the validation code I got a Succesful Registration message and the user is logged in, BUT if you log out and try and log in again you go the registration page again. If you try and register the user again it says the login and email address are already in use.

when you are one the register page after the first login, you must validate the form in order to be actually registered

Also, tried your test site and got following error when the facebook window opened.
Error...
Authentication canceled
Question: I didn't select any Hosting of the facebook App. SHould I have done?

can you access your database with phpMyAdmin ang give the content of the piwigo_users table (remove the emails)
Answer: no
look, I don't know the mechanisms used to anthenticate, so it's very hard to correct, I absolutely don't know why it doesn't work on my website

I think I figured it out : it seems to be a conflict with Crypto Captcha
will try to find why, and a workaround
