Upgrading .htaccess file from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.3/5.4

My web hosting company sent me the following message. When I tried to do what they asked, it causes chaos. Can anyone help me with a better solution to my problem?

The following .htaccess file(s) on your account for scssar.org contain(s) a directive that explicitly sets the default PHP interpreter to 5.2:
/home/scssar/www/www/.htaccess

If you are using software that relies on PHP 5.2, you must make sure it is compatible with PHP 5.3/5.4.
To set your account to use PHP 5.3, you can simply remove the "AddHandler x-httpd-php52 php" directive from the listed .htaccess file(s).

Re: Upgrading .htaccess file from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.3/5.4

Hi,

Piwigo works fine with Php 5.3. So you can do what your hoster said: "you can simply remove the "AddHandler x-httpd-php52 php" directive from the listed .htaccess file(s)."
