Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I'm doing a first time installation of Piwigo 2.6.3 and I'm getting a http 403 error on install.php. I've read some postes that seemed to be successful by doing a chmod 755 to files/dir. This however did not work for me.
Does anyone have other suggestions?
Piwigo version: 2.6.3
PHP version: 5.3.28-pl3-gentoo
MySQL version: Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.39, for Linux (x86_64)
Piwigo URL: http://faintfuzzies.ca/piwigo

I'm sure it must be something simple that I'm over looking. I run my own web server. Which presently runs Apache, Wordpress and Gallery2. I'm not sure you are aware, but Mentlo Gallery is going into hibernation. So I was looking to Piwigo as a replacement for my 12,000 plus pictures.

Hmmm renaming the .htaccess file fixed the problem. Question is which part of my .htaccess file is causing the issue? I appreciate the help you have provided so far.
