Hello!
a short description of the problem:
I just wanted to view my pictures with an Opera Browser (6.0x). Well, all I see, is errors. (e.g: Warning: Failed opening './template/6/conf.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:./includes:/php/includes') in /speicher/phpWebGallery/include/config.php on line 101) nearly the same is in lines 108, 124, 125, 126 and 143!
Then I looked into the conf.php script: The errors are thrown in lines where vars are filled with values from the database. (theme, user, etc.). As I can see with mysql on the command line, the Queries are made. But the relevant vars in config.php are not assigned a value.
If I use IE, it works! :?: I'm totally confused!
I'm running apache 1.3.20 with php 4.0.6
Is that a general error or does it depend on my configuration? Is it important to configure the Opera Browser in a certain manner?
I hope anybody here in the forum can help me, or give me a small hint or idea, where i could start to get it working!
Alex
Well, it's me once again.
Update: The Browser Version that's not running with is 6.05!
I also tested PWG with Opera Version 6.0. And: it RUNS! :?
I don't know how to interprete this!
BTW: my client isn't firewalled at all!
Ok, that's all I wanted to say...
Hope you don't have the same "problems"...
Alex
Hi,
I've just tried PhpWebGallery with Opera 6.01 and it works not perfectly but fine...
The problems you have for inclusion are not dependent of the browser you use, unless the browser uses a variable with the same name as a phpwebgallery variable.
This probleme should be corrected in version 1.2
