:) finally I have decided to buy another canon dslr (more than a year ago died my canon 7d)... and strangly enough, piwigo is part of the reason why I want to try to play again with digital photography :)

ordered used canon 5d mark 1 (with 6 months warranty) and will pick it up tomorrow :)

happy shooting,
H

Hey, that's awesome, tell us how much you paid for it, and how happy you are with the results after some testing. :) I can't unfortunately afford to upgrade my equipment at this point, but for the future, who knows.

Hi

I paid only £350 for my 5D mark 1 (includes 6 months warranty) at Park Cameras (near Brighton, UK).

Here is a link to my London category: http://www.artforweb.co.uk/index.php?/category/27 (all the photos in the 1st page are shot with 5D)... or another to all recent pics: http://www.artforweb.co.uk/index.php?/recent_pics

here are some random photos (all of the London ones + brands were shot with canon 100mm 2.8f lens):

God, it feels so good to have a great camera with a fantastic lens in your hands :)

Re: complete offtopic

huhh... and canon 5d works so well with direct sunlight (shot in raw and quickly edited in lightroom)

.. such a pleasure :)
