Hello

On my site I have an error message in the Admin area:

Deprecated: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use preg_replace_callback instead in /home/...mysite.../include/smarty/libs/Smarty_Compiler.class.php on line 270

Piwigo version: 2.3.4
PHP version: 5.5.32
MySQL version: 5.6.25-log

What is this? What can I do with it?

Hi

I HIGHLY suggest you upgrade Piwigo to 2.7.4

otherwise, configure your server to hide DEPRECATED warnings

Before updating... I wanted to make a backup... and I have a very long error message (several pages)
It starts like this:

use the database manager (phpmyadmin usually) provided with your hosting

Oké, so I can make a backup with the database manager (phpmyadmin).
And after?

How may I update Piwigo?
What will happen with the error message:
