Hello/Hi/Greetings,
Please help me.
2.5 hours of work wasted. I have been working on writing text to pictures, and when I clicked "submit" I got the message "You are not allowed....." I was logged off.
What can I do to avoid this from happening again?
Piwigo version: 2.9.3

Nobody will help you with such little information. What "text"? You mean description? Using image properties page, or quick edit, or..? Perhaps you could include a screen shot of what you're talking about.

Never write text for 2.5hrs on the internet ANYWHERE. That is asking for trouble. Write it in a text editor, saving often. Then copy & paste when you're finished.

I am trying to translate my page into english, and sometimes have to search for a common english name for an insect (or bird or something)
Should I then log out when searching, log in to vrite the result, log out again etc.?
Why can't I stay logged in when I am working?

You cut off your screenshot, so I do not know what it is. You do not provide the steps to arrive at your problem, or the full error message, so I can't help you.
My Piwigo stays logged in for days, and I'm not aware of any automatic logout.

I'm sure there are plugins for your webbrowser able to store that info, and opening Notepad++ aside will allow to copy/paste at the end your text
The session is handled according to too many parameters, so it would be better check the alternatives I mentioned
