Folder question

Hi all!
i am using Piwigo (latest stable) and i am wondering about folders.
I have one "galleries" folder which is pretty big (14gb) where all my photos are located (i know, since i moved the jpgs there manually) and now i discovered i also have a "_data" folder with some 9gb inside, which "seems" to mimic the "galleries" folder structure.

what is inside this _data folder? Can i move it off the "htdocs" folder? Because i am backing up the "htdocs" folder and i would like to avoid backing up those 9gb...

Thanks!!

Re: Folder question

Your representatives 're stored in "i" subfolder and "cache" template files, etc

You could delete them from your dashboard tools maintenance section then they 'll be generated automatically... one more time ;) so not needed to save all that

Re: Folder question

And in case you're not familiar with Piwigo's lingo, "representatives" are all your resizes, thumbnails, etc. :)

Re: Folder question

Windracer, thank you... I guessed so, but your post make me feel more human.

Re: Folder question

@Jessy be careful:  we call 'representative' in Piwigo pictures which are used for non displayable content. You can upload a pdf and use a jpg to generate thumbnails etc
