I guess if it would be possible to add a basic support of EPUB files at less reach the cover picture in the file (Epub are zip file embedding xhtml/xml structure).

Additionnally, I found this project which could permit to read Epub directly inside the Piwigo gallery, like VideoJs plugin does.

I don't have the technical knowledge I think to do that, but it could be great to have for gallery which not only offer pictures.
