Forced to upgrade to php8 by Sec ...

Hello folks,

I was forced to upgrade to php8 due to the upcoming EOL of php7.4 ... Now I also experience severe problems just like the rest of us having tried to use this php version.

I have two questions:
I want to make a complete backup of our (former) running system - I take it that there is no "Complete Backup" plugin available and I have to do that by hand?

And, is there any chance a piwigo version compatible w/ php8 might come up the next months?

Thank you and greetings
Jesaiah

Yes, there is no "backup plugin", you'll have to backup all directories and files of Piwigo including images, and don't forget to dump the database to a SQL file.
Piwigo version 13 is said to be PHP 8 compatible, but isn't released yet.
