Hello
I have some weird problem. I've never seen anything like this all over the internet.
Incorrect previews and incorrect incorrect images of other formats are created. I'm previewing from other images, and when I switch between sizes, completely different other images come out. Mostly from the last uploaded.
I noticed one similarity - all incorrect images have a beginning: i.php
If the image has a direct link /_data - all is well.
I found a fix for i.php on the forum - where you need to specify the direct path for the Piwigo directory, but this did not help at all.
Please help what to do?
I updated to the latest version - but that didn't help either. I did not find such a problem on the form and in general on the Internet.
Piwigo 12.3.0
Linux
PHP: 8.0.26
MySQL: 10.10.2-MariaDB
ImageMagick 6.9.12-70
Cache size 5298.07 Mo

I disabled all plugins, did synchronization and all the suggested actions in the admin panel.
Nothing helped.

I see solutions like this:
1) Make sure that all links are on _date, remove i.php altogether. But how to do that?
2) Fix the work of i.php so that links to images are created correctly. But how to do that?

Can anyone give some advice? Any advice

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I disabled the site, so far it is not there, because it does not work :(
The problem is that when I go to any image with a link that starts with i.php, I and other users get a completely random different image from the last uploaded.
Even if you just refresh the browser window (сtrl + F5), different pictures will be loaded. Magic huh?
At the same time, the image sources are correct, the images in the _data folder are correct.

Can you suggest how to make sure i.php is not used?

Hello, Can I ask why do you access the images from i.php?
This link is for images of different sizes. Probably previews of a different size are simply not created.
And the link looks like javascript:changeImgSrc('i.php?/upload/........)

Could it be a write permission issue? But I put 777 on the upload folders, and there is no information in the logs. (/upload), (_data/i/upload)

A quick note:
If you dont have generated the derivates it will be generated on the fly when you access the image via the normal url like:
https://www.fotoarkiv.no/picture.php?/1 … egory/1528
And depending on the settings in picture sizes it will not generate every size automatically
There seems to be a problem in this on-the-fly generation functionality. Generation produces wrong images. The original is one, but another image is generated on the fly

if you upload your images to the default /galleries folder then syncronize does that also generate the wrong pictures?
I understand that the synchronization functionality works strangely. But those images that are created and placed in the _data folder - they are done correctly.
If through the admin panel to make different sizes of images - writes an error. Images are not created. (all folders are 777)

The /_data/ folder is the only folder that stores the generated images.

Yes, I understand. In this folder, images are saved normally.
The problem is in those images that are generated on the fly and are not saved in _data
Can you advise something?
