Piwigo 14 is now live. New search engine, new album editor, support for new file types like HEIC or WebP, PHP 8.2 compatibility. Read the full release notes, with screenshots and 2 exclusive interviews ;-)

wow. that went flawless. all plug-ins survived the upgrade - even two with a warning.
my first thought was: better wait till 14.3. ;-) - but everything worked really, really well.
i actually like the cleaner look (e.g. admin/categories) way better, though its description space is even smaller then before and can not be resized by dragging. but i know and am aware, I`m probably the only person on this planet who is affected cause of my excessive descriptions (and it`s far from beeing a real problem). but at least, i want to mention.
this, of course, is a fresh und first impression. but the upgrade-process itself is probably the best i`ve experienced so far. and this fact alone is a big feather in the cap.
so, don`t be afraid folks, give this version a chance.
big thanks to the team for keeping piwigo alive and kicking.

Awesome work, the upgrade went perfect, thank you very much for all the hard work
Hi,
great
upgrade done on a test plaform.
8 plugins desactivated
"Check for update" then "update" for plugins, is it for ALL plugins including the desactivated plugins or not ?
If yes it means plugins desactivated can be re activated. If no how to check each plugin?
Thank you

This might be a dumb question, but are updates automatically applied to those of us who don't host our own site and use Piwigo only?

thank you and the Piwigo for releasing the RC of Piwigo 14 :D
It is no longer a Release Candidate :-)

I was wondering whether Piwigo 14 would work with PHP 8.3, too? If it currently does not, is it going to anytime soon?
As far as we have tested, no problem with PHP 8.3.

Hi,
when trying to modify album settings I get:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /media/storage/www-data/piwigo/admin/cat_modify.php on line 324
Any idea on how to fix this?
Kind regards.
