Charlies-content fatal error sound recordings

Hello Everyone!

We have sound recordings, as well, in our Piwigo site. It used to work fine, however, this is the error message we get now:

Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in .../plugins/charlies_content/getid3/getid3/getid3.php on line 277

How can we repair this?

I have found 3.2.4 and activated it.

Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in
/plugins/piwigo-jplayer/include/getid3/getid3.php on line 359

How can we install 3.5 (the admin/plugins page does not offer this upgrade).

Up to now, since I use Piwigo, all updates was managed from the admin panel.
Now, if I understand well, we have to use ftp and upload files manually.
Do I understand well?
Would it be possible to use the automatic solution again?

In the meantime:
I have downloaded the charlies_content_3.5.zip file.
And now on?
I have never manipulated the Piwigo with ftp... Is it secure?
How to continue?

That links to some file on pCloud, it is never a good idea to install and run arbitrary code from an arbitrary location. Please edit your post and remove the link. Thanks.
