I found out an interesting problem while I was trying to delete the gallery-directory (axiom-data/Rudolf/) and some other directorys: It says "Permission denied".
Rudolf- and the other "problem" directorys are chmoded to 755, so I should be able to delete it, right? But I can't... I can't do anything to them: rename, chmod to 777, delete etc. The php-prog can't either delete the profile because I had some problems with the installation.
Any suggestions how to delete those damn directorys (and the files inside them), thanks for advance?
(Sorry for bad english)
you try to delete directories by FTP ? I suppose so, because PhpWebGallery isn't able to delete anything. Try with another FTP client maybe. I advise you to try FileZilla : http://filezilla.sourceforge.net

axiom-data is 777 = I can change the values.
axiom-data/rudolf is 755 = Can't change the values or the files inside the directory.
Files under "gallery/axiom-data/rudolf/" -directory are all chmod to 644. Can't do anything.
Should I contact to host and ask them to remove those files if I can't do it?
Ouh, and I tried to use different ftp-progs and the result was same...
here, I think the pb comes from your host. I don't see thelink with PhpWebGallery in fact :-)

I was thinking same. Somekind of safe mode etc. probably...
btw.
Another odd question. How can you delete .htacces-files from the FTP-host when they're being automatically hidden. For example, FTP-prog can't delete the directory if there are hidden files, in this case .htacces-files. Question is: How can I delete files I can't even see?
in your FTP client, you surely have an option enabling the display of hidden files (FileZilla has this options for example)
