I have put up a web site which initially contains some pages about how Piwigo albums are structured on the server, and information about how the contents can be protected if that's what you need to do.

On the site there is mailing list for visitors to sign up for notification of updates, as well as a comments page where visitors can post questions or comments, and I would welcome feedback about any mistakes, lack of clarity requiring further information, or indeed any other topics it may be useful to cover in the same format (ie description and real-world screenshots).

This information site links to a Piwigo site which is not 'live' but purely set up to support the information site, so other features may be added to it over time if people feel it would be useful.

I trust this will prove useful to some Piwigo users.

Added a page on adding music to your Piwigo site (playing for visitors as they view your albums).
Details are in the 'Additional Items/Music on Pages section.

Altered details for adding music to use a different method of inserting script.

Hi Flop.

I hope I am not offending anyone with my efforts.

A lot of the information in my pages relating to Album structure is already included in the docs - what I am trying to do (and maybe no-one will find it useful) is present the information with live screenshots and explanations in a simpler but more detailed format than is included in the docs, and hopefully in a easier to follow format.

It will be interesting to see how it is received by Piwigo users - particularly the explanation regarding Album Protection.

If no-one finds it useful I will abandon it ;-)

About the first part, "Album Structure":
It's just you've made great and simple explanations, with screen-shots, which could have been in the Doc, visited by much more people. Could I use your screen-shot, to improve our Doc?

About the second part, "Album Protection":
You didn't take into account the protection of originals added in 2.5, but indeed that part could never be in our official doc. I wish you my best, that it will help people

ps: hard to scroll when you got 3scroll bars!

- No problem if you want to use the screenshots to add to the docs if they help.

- I saw your previous comment regarding the Original protection in V2.5, but at present I don't know how it works (and it is not yet released).
As soon as I have the details I will update the site.

- Scrolling. I will look to improve this.

I have added information about playing music on your web site - see the edit to the original post.

It is a different approach to the extensions already available from Flop and P@T as the player can be embedded on every page.

I had not noticed any during the brief time I have had it on the demo site, and the customer I found it for has not mentioned anything.

Where were/are you seeing the adds?

Edited the Add Music page.
Altered the way that the script for inserting music is incorporated into Piwigo pages.
