Hello there,
I would like to enable users to add photos directly from their instagram account. I have installed a plugin called "Instagram2piwigo" and created a client ID and secret code. I was able to import photos from my instagram profile to the piwigo website. But that was a manual operation- Login to Piwigo site-> then from the plugin, login to instagram-> and import. I would like to get this automatically added. Or at least to a moderation process, where i can approve photos. And also would like to make it possible for public to post photos directly to my website from their instagram.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated
Best,
Jibin

Hi
Though it is technically possible it is not pratical, you can't ask all your users to create a Instagram API key and register it on your gallery.
Will be much simplier to use Community plugin for direct upload.

Okay, thanks :) One more doubt- So will this help me to allow public post photos from their instagram?
Best regards,

My aim is to allow people to export photos from instagram or other social media sites to my piwigo (not manually uploading to Piwigo)
Do you think this is possible?
Thanks again
I totally understood your question the first time....
As I said it is possible but much more complicated (to use) than manual upload

PS: you force HTTPS on your website but you don't have a valid certificate, thus Firefox throws an alert asking to manually validate the certificate, 99% of people won't do it and will leave your site immediately
