Re: How to update to 2.8RC1?

You NEVER install a test version on production website ! Why on earth would you do that ?

Now if you just copied the files and didn't alter the database, overwrite all files again with 2.7.4 package.

And if it does not change anything, check your server log to know where teh 500 error comes from.

I did not update yet - it was a test and I rooled back. The database is not touched.
In moment there is the original 2.7.4 running. But it is PHP 7 now (on Microsoft IIS - Windows Server 2012R2).
So what can I do that that site is working?

best regards

Re: How to update to 2.8RC1?

I don't know IIS, I can't help you (and as far as I know, nobody here does, everyone use Linux for their servers).

All I can say is that there is no error in there, so the logger is probably missconfigured.

Re: How to update to 2.8RC1?

When I replace the index.php file with another one (contains: <?php phpinfo(); ?>) that works

Best regards
