Confused with Piwigo's Rating system
Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I'm confused with Piwigo's rating system.
on the rating tab, there are six stars.. not sure why this is six (isn't it supposed to be 5?)
i'm pretty sure rating 1 - 5 stars is standard

How does it work?
I gave a photo rate 0, and the rating score became 1.56 (1 rate). If I change it to 5 score becomes (4.06 rate 1).... I don't really know how this works... Someone have a formula for the rating system??

I still don't get it...
By using the Bayesian Average, I computed a 4.598 rating on 1 photo but on the site it shows 4.06
Was there something wrong in the formula I used?
(Average Number of Rates across all images * Average Rating of all images) + (Total User Who Rated * Image Total Rating) / (Average Number of Rates across all images + Total User Who Rated)
.. this drives me nuts....

You can set the number of stars in include/config_default.inc.php. Just look for 'rate_items'.
p/s: I have the same confusion as well before :-)
