Ok, sorry. I just realized there is a dedicated troubleshotting section in the forum.

Yesterday I tried to upgrade my Piwigo 2.7 to 2.8 following the automatic procedure embeded in the app. It failed. The browser runs the upgrade.php file and goes blank.
Then I tried to follow the manual procedure downloading and copying all the files to piwigo folder. Same result.
Now I can not access even the old version. It always tries to execute the upgrade.php file and gets stuck.
Any clues?
read my post just above yours ; please create a new thread

Yes. Please open a discussion for this question :-) (the announcement is not for this kind of question)
Is having authentication keys in email able to be disabled? I've been looking forward to having some time to get Piwigo set up, but for my purposes this is an anti-feature.
I'm sure many people will find this authentication arrangement suits them, but for me it'd be a show-stopper if it can't be disabled.
Congratulations!
Merci beaucoup!
Staying current and stable is more important than new features, me thinks.
Hello Piwigo users and followers!
After more than a year without major change and a move to Github, Piwigo comes back with version 2.8 and awesome new features. Authentication keys in notification emails will make life easier for your users. Multiple format feature extends the possibilities of use for companies and pro photographers. Compatibility with PHP 7 marks our commitment to the future. We hope you’ll love this new version!
Each notification email sent by Piwigo will contain its own automatic authentication key on links.
