I have tried all the fixes in the previous thread but all to no avail.
The odd thing is that some pics upload and some dont, I have tried reneming the gallery and renaming the pics, I have also tried uploading the images that fail into other galleries, but they fail there too :/
I cannot see any differences between the images that work and the ones that will not upload, its all very odd.
Please feel free to creat an account and I will make you admin if that will help?
I love the new 2.4 stuff, and I donated as promised, but without being able to upload my site is pretty useless :(
I hope you can find a solution for me
Steve

just as a side note, would it be easy to change the layout of the template as the number of comments bit is cut off by the box - I love how it looks now, but its slightly off by a few characters (it happens under the box too with the Photo name, thats slightly higher than it should be.
Any help tweaking this would be greatly appreciated

You can't "upload" or "generate multiple size"?
Which method do you use to upload photos? pLoader? Web form? Lightroom? digiKam?

Please open a specific topic for this specific question, or else it will never be possible to mark this topic as resolved :-)

Hi, sorry I have been away :)
I have tried Ploader & Web Upload - I have posted several comments in the original thread regarding Images not showing up after uploading.
I get a red X with either upload method, BUT some images have uploaded no problem :/
Feek free to delete the other question.

I really could do with some help from you guys as my site is useless at the moment and I am trying to launch my new Studio :(
This is what I get:
http://www.freezinglifethroughthelens.c … ategory/28
(I also still have file mismatch error on the Web uploader
■In your php.ini file, the upload_max_filesize (20MB) is bigger than post_max_size (8MB), you should change this setting)
Although I have made all the chamges I can find :s
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this

With regard to the php.ini and upload size have you tried this
http://piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p … 52#p132052
With regard to the images, you say that some upload and some don't.
So it could possibly be an image problem.
I can give you a link so you can upload a couple of them to my server, I will gladly download them and try uploading to piwigo and see what happens - if that will help.
At least them you will know if the problem is the images or your installation.

This is my PHP.ini
upload_max_filesize = 200M
post_max_size = 200M
date.timezone = Europe/London
memory_limit = 400M
extension=imagick.so
and my HTACCESS file is posted above if either of those help diagnose the issue?

I am, unfortunately, having the exact same problem. I have a new Piwigo website. Some pictures upload fine. Some do not. It should not be a space issue because I've had 1000 images working, but when I try to upload some certain ones, they do not. I have also tried to upload those certain pictures with NO other images on the site with the same results.
If anyone can help, my website is below. You can see that one album works and one does not. (I reinstalled Piwigo today.)
By the way...I tested an upload of one of the same problematic pictures on a version 2.3.3 Piwigo and it worked perfectly, as expected.

skpManiac sent me two photos, one that will upload on his site, and one that will not.
BOTH uploaded on my site perfectly well, so this confirms that the problem looks like it is with either an extension you are both using, or a peice of code you have on both your sites that I do not have on mine.
Incidentally I have 3 different installations of Piwigo on my server and tried the photo on all 3 - with no problems uploading.
I think it will be difficult for the developers to identify the problem because it is obviously not easy to reproduce on other systems.
With regard to code, I am not a coder so I would not be able to suggest coding areas that might be an issue, but I did wonder how the code on skpManiacs site may differ to mine.
All 3 of my installations were 'clean' installs but I know skpManiac upgraded.
If you had both installed V2.4 as an upgrade, maybe that could have created some code difference which was causing the problem - but the impression I get for your post Jobhater is that you did a fresh install of 2.4 - is that correct.
Maybe the other thing to do is to compare what plugins you both use, and disable the 'common' ones to see if that makes a difference. (Maybe you have tried disabling plugins already).
Finally, Jobhater, if you'd like me to try your photo on my test site just like I did with skpManiac, I'm happy to let you have upload details to put it where I can download it to try - just let me know.
