Adding existing images on server
Hello, newbie here...
I just installed but have thousands of images in different folders at same server already.
What is the best solution for adding + synchronizing them please?
I don't need to upload anything, just where to move existing images and which method to use for creating galleries for each folders/subfolders.

Make sure the web server has permissions to read those directories and create symbolic link(s) in the galleries/ directory pointing to the existing folder(s) and sync, see How To Add Pictures ... by FTP.

Many thanks, seems to work although don't understand the meaning of "symbolic links"...
I just moved my existing folders under the /galleries/ folder.
Hope that's correct...
