title will be better. It has a meaning "title".
Alt field is for people with disabilities or when no image is displayed. alt text is written or spoken to explain what the image represents.
Or maybe Google robots are on holiday ? :-)

Ok I will change all the strategy on a title basis strategy. (I obviously did that test too).

Thanks. ^^ I think this would make the images appear on google (until now my only images that appeared were the thumbnails. T.T)
Anyways, how can I do it that the title has the same value as the alt.
The title only has: GoldenSunDS1.jpg
But I want to be the same as the alt which contains: Golden Sun DS: Party with Logo - GoldenSunDS1.jpg
Current modified file:
{* $Id: picture_content.tpl 3121 2009-02-04 02:33:50Z rvelices $ *} {if isset($high) } <a href="javascript:phpWGOpenWindow('{$high.U_HIGH}','{$high.UUID}','scrollbars=yes,toolbar=no,status=no,resizable=yes')"> {/if} <img src="{$SRC_IMG}" style="width:{$WIDTH_IMG}px;height:{$HEIGHT_IMG}px;" title="{$ALT_IMG}" {if isset($COMMENT_IMG)} title="{$COMMENT_IMG|@strip_tags:false|@replace:'"':' '}" {else} alt="{$current.TITLE|@replace:'"':' '} - {$ALT_IMG}" {/if}> {if isset($high) } </a> <p>{'picture_high'|@translate}</p> {/if}

- {$ALT_IMG}
added to title...

IMHO, this is not working at all.
alt="Canon_PowerShot_S45-2007-10-30_10-20-40.JPG"
title="Pomegranate in my garden"
Google images: "Pomegranate in my garden" site:vdigital.org
=> Nothing
Google web: "Pomegranate in my garden" site:vdigital.org
=> fine

Did you ever resolve this please? I'm looking to do the same thing and get Google to 'see' my images. They all have keywords and are geotagged but not sure Google will recognise them. I've 16000 images so need an easy way to get them seen.
Thanks in advance
