Re: Lightroom plug-in beta testing - invitation

Confirmed - you need to install/activate a plug-in in your Piwigo gallery to use GPS data.
But once again, if GPS data is present the metadata, my export plugin transfers it to Piwigo and it is retained there.

Re: Lightroom plug-in beta testing - invitation

1/ My pictures are geotagged with JF geocoding plugin in LR: when I do a simple export and I upload the pictures to my piwigo website it works perfectly
2/ When I used the piwigo publishing tool in LR and I try to update the geolocalization with map & earth plugin, it doesn't work

Truth, this plugin is made for pictures add via FTP only Not supported with the API method. You can tested the http://fr.piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=454

Re: Lightroom plug-in beta testing - invitation

ok... I've downloaded 2 plugins
- Gmaps
- Advanced metadata 0.52 (the newest one is not working with Gmaps)
Everything goes so complicated that I just get lost.... Maps&Earth module was very simple compared to this one.

Re: Lightroom plug-in beta testing - invitation

You can see a picture captured with iPhone 3GS here:
http://piwigo.us/dev/21/picture.php?/25 … es&map

The photo was exported using my plug-in. As you can see, GPS information is retained.
Keep in mind that with the geoencoding plugin you also must use the "Shadow GPS Injector" action, as explained in Jeffrey's blog: http://regex.info/blog/2008-10-29/979 (see the "Exporting, Etc." section).

Re: Lightroom plug-in beta testing - invitation

Hello,

I'm facing a "problem" (not a bug) which seems to not correspond to what i've read.
When publishing an album, the imported photo are not published with public access as explained in previous post, but with restriction to "Admins, Family, Friends, Contacts".

This means that I should update after each publish the status so that guest could access the album.

Is there an option or some configuration I miss that can allow me to direct publish with public access ?

Except this, you plugins works really well, and it's a pleasure to use it !

Pierre.

P.S.: Using build 202

That was an inssue with earlier versions of the plug-in. The latest build (#266) publishes photos with public access. I suggest you upgrading and using the latest version whenever possible :)

Re: Lightroom plug-in beta testing - invitation

Thanks for your answer !

As a developer, i generally pay attention to get latest version of my soft.
My error was to not follow your release plan.

I discovered that their was new versions of your plugin during my post. That's why i had precise the build number.

I'll do the update and enjoy lightroom export, thanks !

Re: Lightroom plug-in beta testing - invitation

Hey guys,
I haven't received further bug reports in a pretty long time. This gives me the confidence to release the current version officially by the beginning of the next week.
If anyone has any outstanding issues, please report them ASAP.

Thanks everyone for helping me with beta testing!

Great news. We will add it in the list of third party tools to add photos in Piwigo.

Happy holidays alloyphoto :-)

Re: Lightroom plug-in beta testing - invitation

Is there a difference between the beta plugin and the release one?
