I would really really really really really really really be thankful if you make something similar for Picasa.
I am pretty sure there is a plug-in for Picasa...
Yep, here is the link: http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/picasaweb. Personally, I have never used it but I think it's worth checking out.
As I don't use Lightroom, that's of no use to me, but thanks anyways.
What I wanted was to have Picasa working as pLoader.

Ah I see... You are in the wrong department then :)
This thread is for the Lightroom plug-in for Piwigo. pLoader is a Piwigo extension, the thread is located here [Forum, post 107018 by plg in topic 14970] pLoader for Windows, prepare and upload photos from your computer

I was asking for plugin/addon for Picasa to manage the galleries, just like the Lightroom's one.
But you may be right, I'm in the wrong section ^^.

Hi,
I'm having a problem about metadata when publishing my photos to Piwigo.
In Piwigo coniguration, you can define an IPTC mapping.
Specifying which IPTC field will be taken for naming the photo, which IPTC field will be taken for legend, etc...
When I'm using PiwigoExport, this mapping is not taken into account.
It seems that PiwigoExport calls addSimple with this parameters:
pwg.images.addSimple: {"name":"","category":"xxx","tags":tags,"author":author,"level":"0","comment":comment}
As the parameters are present, Piwigo take these parameters instead of looking at the metadata inside the photo.
Would it be possible to add an option that make the plugin leave these fields blank?
(if I understood correctly, if the fields are blank, the piwigo IPTC mapping will be taken into account)

Ok... this may not be necessary after all, there's a workaround in Piwigo for that.

Piwigo plug-in version 1.3.0 is available for download
This release offers several powerful features, including the ability to import the album structure from the Piwigo service and associate photos already existing on Piwigo with photos in Lightroom's catalog. To access the new functionality, navigate File > Plug-in Extras > Piwigo Export Plug-in Extras.
Currently, the association algorithm uses only the file name for pairing. With some additional functionality, which I am hoping to see in a future version of Piwigo, it should possible to apply a more advanced and precise logic for automatic pairing.
Also, a number of minor bugs have been fixed in this version.
Visit http://alloyphoto.com/plugins/piwigo/ do download the update.

This plugin is fantastic, and from now on will be way of working between Ligthroom in Piwigo.
When a few months, the publish functionnality was introduced in LR3, I thought it would be wonderful to have a publish service for Piwigo... and here it is.
Thank you very much for all the job behind this.
Just a comment for people like me that want to use private albums. Install "Virtual AutoGrant" for Piwigo, and then, it works fine.
Anyway, here is some feedback on things which do not work perfectly... these are small details, there is no blocking point here.
- trying tor rename a private album does not work (I did not try to rename a public album).
The way to rename an album is, instead of clicking rename, to click modify... change the name, then click modify again and ok.
[edit: I tried again, and it seems to work fine with rename...]
- if you rename the album from Piwigo, it's not renamed in Ligthroom, even if you use the tool "refresh".
The "Import Album Structure" works even with private albums.
I'm currently trying to associate photos... it takes some time... I should have try with a smaller gallery.
I'll comment this part later.
Maybe it would be useful to associate photos for one album only at a time.

I tried the association with a gallery with 60 photos.
The association process was quick.
Apart from photos for which I changed the name when publishing, all the photos were correctly associated.
This is a great function.

Hi Zaphod,
So, it seems the only issue (right now) is that albums renamed in Piwigo are not renamed in Lightroom?
I will incorporate this in the Refresh function in the next update.
Please let me know if there is anything else that needs to be fixed.
PS: Thanks for the kind words about my plug-in! I am happy to see that Piwigo community appreciates my efforts. And here is a gentle reminder for plug-in users - please cast your vote for the Piwigo plug-in at Adobe Exchange http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/i … id=2361522

Yes, it's the only issue I discovered yesterday.
That means it works fine already ;)

I've got an other problem: it seems not possible to move private albums from Lightroom.
(I didn't try with public albums as I do not use them)
I've also encoutered two strange problems I did not reproduced:
- once, the photos were transfered in the opposite order.
- another time, I've had an error message when transferring:
...\1.3.1\PiwigoExport.lrdevplugin\alloyphoto.tasks.lua:32: <AgErrorText>...t\1.3.1\PiwigoExport.lrdevplugin\alloyphoto.json.lua:202: html passed to JSON:decode(): <pre><br /> <b>Warning</b>: [mysql error 1062] Duplicate entry '4-554' for key 1

I noticed the issue with moving private albums today too. I'll look for a solution.
The second issue probably needs to be looked at by Piwigo developers because the mysql error is generated on the server.
I am also working on a couple of other issues Gotcha and I found today, so there should be a new update soon.
