Okey, this is what I would like to accomplish but don't know how to implement it.
I have a folder/category 'New York' with 5 photos.
I would like to have photos NY1, NY2 and NY3 visible for users in group 'G1' and
I would like to have photos NY3, NY4 and NY5 visible for users in group 'G2' and
I would like to have all photos visible for users in group 'G3'
Thanks for your help.

Hi nilssoll,
I'm afraid this is not possible in a single album (=category). In a given album, you can only manage permissions with privacy levels, not with groups. And privacy levels are "hierarchical" : Admins > Family > Friends > Contacts > Everybody. If a photo can be seen by "Contacts", it can automatically be seen by "Friends".
Maybe you can try this workaround with several categories :
* private category New York G1 with photos {NY1, NY2, NY3} permitted to G1 only
* private category New York G2 with photos {NY3, NY4, NY5} permitted to G2 only
* private category New York G3 with photos {NY1, NY2, NY3, NY4, NY5} permitted to G3 only
You can give the same name to the 3 categories.

Thank you very much plg, I kinda new that but wanted to be 100% sure before going down the 'multi-category' path.
And thank you for an excellent gallery app.
