I know, I normally have no problems with those things, I work with computers and software since the late 70's, when the whole computer was the keyboard and there were no harddrives and only green screens.  I do a lot of programming, finishing a relational database for a museum and so on. 
But still, I somehow overlooked the fact that the menu's were dynamic and folded out.  Probably because the names of the groups were kind of "grayed out"  but still  -- quite embarrassing, but SOLVED.  Still cannot figure out why I did not find that on my own.
I am also the one who sings the "song" "...just click away, the only thing you can break is the software (sometimes) and that can be easily fixed by a re-install. . ."

Anyhow, to finish this tirade, I thank you all for the help.
