thanks for the quick upate eric it works ok now..
regards phil
Version 2.20.7 adds a new feature to only allow the post of comments to a specific group of users when Piwigo "Comments for all" is disabled.
By default, when we do not allow "comments for all", only registered and identified users can post comments. With this option it's possible to further restrict the post of comments by specifying a group of authorized users.

Version 2.20.8 removes all options related to comments management. These features are now supported by the new [extension by Eric] Comments Access Manager plugin. Please, see [Forum, topic 17577] [Plugin] Comments Access Manager for details.

Hello !
I had many issues with UserAdvManager plugin...
I resolved one of my issues (mail notifications doesn't work... but after few try and changing "$conf['mail_options'] = false;" to "$conf['mail_options'] = true;", notifications are working well !)
But peoples who subscribes to my gallery from yahoo mail, for example, recieve a "white" mail, impossible to read !
Is there a template modification to allow a black text on white background for mail notifications ?
Thanks in advance for your help !
PS :
UserAdvManager - Version: 2.20.8
Piwigo - Version: 2.2.1

Hi sseb.
This seems to be a specific configuration related to your hosting. In many other cases (hosting services) email notfifications work fine without changing these options.
If you tell us who is your hosting it could be hepfull for other users ;-)

The template used in email notifications is the default one set for guest users. But i think Yahoo mail boxes could have some problems to read correctly the email format send by Piwigo. In fact, UAM use the default Piwigo email engine so you should try to send a notification from your gallery (not from UAM) to check if the issue is the same in this case.
Another way to explore : Check your Piwigo configuration to see if you're using plain text or html emails.

Thanks Eric for your answers !

My hosting plan is MAXX at french Hosteur.com
But perhaps, it's something else in my configuration because admin recieve mails when peoples subscribe to gallery (with 'mail_options' set to false)

You are right, I try to send notification from piwigo user administration and the result is the same...
And i agree with you, it's perhaps a yahoo Webmail problem, if i read the same mail from my phone, i have a clear font on a dark background (and not white on white).
I use html mail for aesthetical reasons... And a solution could be to switch to plain text... But if i could avoid...
EDIT : I have a similar issue on another webmail (sfr.fr... Text in html is black on white background but hyperlinks are "very light" yellow on white background). Which files i can edit to change color scheme for mail ?
Thanks in advance

I don't know exactly but I think the theme used for email is the default for the guests. In this case, you should look into the CSS file of related theme. The trouble is that LocalFiles Editor plugin does not allow to overide all the CSS files (only some basics and standards) and you should not modify the files provided by default.
If I have a little time, I'll take look a little better ...Unless someone else has already a solution?

Hi Eric and everyone !
I solved one of my last issue with your help ;-) (it's remaining one that i will explain in the next post...).
It seems that few "webmail" badly handle "automatic html mail" from piwigo (or perhaps it's my hosting provider...).
So like Eric said, I solved my issue editing "mail-css.tpl" file from guest's theme. I changed color scheme to fit a good display with a clear or a dark background (default theme is "dark" theme).
I create a new theme "dark_perso", set it by default to guest and edit mail-css.tpl... I need to do more test to be sure that my modifications are working correctly... but i try 3 webmails with success.
Of course, i can share my modifications if others are interesed and even send my file...
The modification consist to set "body" color to a brown like (readable on white and dark grey) and "copyright" information in red (readable on white and dark grey too !)
If it could help someone, i used this site for color coding : http://www.jokconcept.net/codes-couleurs-hexdecimal.php
Thanks very much Eric !

Eric,
My last issue with UAM is that buttons don't work in UAM control panel "Suivi des validations" (sorry for english friendly people :(, i don't know the exact translation in english...)
When i check one or few users to re-send a key or if i want to delete them and push button, nothing happen !!!!
I will try with mozilla...
EDIT : It's working well with mozilla.... not with IE 8.... :( All future admins of gallery are using IE....

Why don't you post your issue on the french forum (http://fr.piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=12775) ? It should be easier to you to explain your issue and to me to understand it ('cause i'm french ^^) ;-)
I've no more time this evening but i'll try to help you tomorrow. If you decided to re-post your issue on french forum and we solved it, i'll post here a feedback for english users.

I know you are french :-)
But in many case, english fora (forums for non latin peoples) are more active !!!!!
But it's seems that's not the rule for piwigo ;-)
Ok, i'll go to french forum !
I can post feedback here too ! to save your time !
