[resolved] Language Selection error on 2.3.3

Just upgraded. Now get a blank page when selecting lang=de_DE. All other languages work. Same result in IE, Firefox and Chrome. No error messages in server logs.

Can you delete DE and install by Administration -> configuration -> Languages

Re: [resolved] Language Selection error on 2.3.3

made no difference.
I deleted the language again, then put it directly in the url, got the default language.
Reinstalled the German language again, then got blank page again.

Deleted the contents of the de_DE directory and copied in the contents of the fr_FR directory in to the de_DE directory. Blank page again.

Deleted all the [lang=de]... [/lang] sections in all my headers, footers, etc. Deleted and reinstalled German. Blank Page again.

Copied the de language files into the da language folder, chose Danish and got German menus! So...
it's obviously not the language files themselves.

Very frustrating.

I set the default language to German. Now that was a huge mistake! No matter what language parameter I enter in the address bar, I now get a blank page and I can't see the admin page either!

Hope I don't have to reinstall Piwigo itself.

Hi, gallery link is fristersoft.dyndns.org
you'll get a blank page.
Do you know what table and field in the mysql db contain the default language setting? Until I directly edit that back to en, I can't even see my admin pages.

Re: [resolved] Language Selection error on 2.3.3

If you're using UserAdvManager plugin, the version 2.30.3 is buggy with german language. It generated a white page on the gallery.

To fix this : Disable UAM in your database (table #_plugins). So you can access the gallery and your admin panel. Then upgrade UAM to version 2.30.4 and enable the plugin again.

Re: [resolved] Language Selection error on 2.3.3

Thank you!!!
Now, how do I reinstall Danish (da_DK)? I wiped it out during the above experiments and don't find it in the additional languages tab.

Re: [resolved] Language Selection error on 2.3.3

Why did you delete da_DK langue when de_DE was in fault ?

Anyway, you should find the additional languages in your administration panel > Configuration > Languages. Maybe in "Inactive Languages" part or in "Add new language" tab. If not, that abnormal...

Then you can find the da_DK files in Piwigo's downloadable package (http://piwigo.org/basics/downloads) and send them to your host.
