Hi all,
several year I was really happy user of phpwebgallery 1.7 (thanks!!!!). Now I moved to Piwigo 2.3.3
Unfortunately in new Piwigo I lost all my virtual galleries and names of photos :-( Is some procedure to extract these information? For example I have database.sql that contains probably all these information from phpwebgallery. How I can manage it?
Thank for any advice!
P.S. This file database.sgl was made by dumping procedure made during update

At previous version (1.7) I had a plethora of virtual galleries.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi lanius,
Actually it seems you didn't "upgrade" to Piwigo 2.3.3 but you made a fresh new install. The only thing you retrieved in the "galleries" directory and that's not enough (your lose all what's inside the database)
Please follow the manual upgrade tutorial.

Oh... it§ silly. I really made automatic upgrade. However, according to procedure I had sql file so maybe some data can be retrieved? In this file I see many information about name of photos and virtual galleries.

Hello,
I tried to use upgrade procedure but without success :-(
It is really no way to extract data about virtual galleries (albums) and name of photos from database.sgl??
I made it preciously during years and it could be really tedious work!!!

I send you database for 2.3.3 by e-mail
Go to database

on your there're table to new installation with piwigo as prefixe and old installation with phpwebgallery as prefixe
By FTP can you go to local/config
edit database.inc.php
and remplace $prefixeTable = 'piwigo_'; by $prefixeTable = 'phpwebgallery_';

Tnank you.
I did it.
Unfortunately after this change my Piwigo gallery needed to make upgrade (from 1.7 to 2.3.3) - automatically!
After this upgrade I have the same situation as previously - no virtual database!!!
And everything was restarted (it looks as after new instalation).
Do you have any idea about solution of this situation?
