Hello,
there might be a rather unpleasant situation: If you cut off a picture from its last remainig category it will disappear somewhere in the nirvana (does it really???). This could happen very easily by accident. So it would be good if there were a pseudo-category named "trash basket" which deleted images are automatically added to.

At first I saw your smilie and thought of a joke. But after hours of searching :-) I did find this filter setting. This is so tricky and everything but intuitive - so I regard it almost as a bug. ;-)
Meanwhile I find stopping a problem before it arises is better than a well-hidden workaround. So I have written some lines of code which prevent a user from splitting off all categories. They are in the "core-mod" files I sent to plg two weeks ago. Perhaps the piwigo team is interested in my improvement suggestion.
