Since today's update to 2.4.6, the resizing of uploaded photos isn't working anymore, neither with ImageMagick (using Graphics Library: External ImageMagick 6.2.8) nor with gd. Piwigo is creating a folder, but not any files in _data/i/upload/.
My gallery is hosted at: www.soon-effects.com/photo
LocalFiles contains:
$conf['ext_imagick_dir'] = '/usr/share/ImageMagick-6.2.8/';
$conf['enable_i_log'] = true;
Here's my latest i.log output:

Hello
did you add/jave any htaccess file?
Offline
Yes, I have a .htaccess file in the directory containing the Piwigo folder (eg my root directory), containing some RewriteRules and custom error page rules - which thus are also active for Piwigo..
But even with this .htaccess file deactivated (temporarily renamed), the problem persists.
Thank you very much for your help,

Okay thx it helps to debug
http://www.soon-effects.com/photo/i.php … 1eb-th.jpg !
but the i.log output doesn't show any error...
do you still have an image which worked before? try to upload/synch it plz

Yeah, that strange error message ('..cannot be displayed because it contains errors.') appeared before the update when I didn't have ImageMagick pointed to '/usr/share/ImageMagick-6.2.8/'.
Strange thing too is, that when I try to use gd, I get no error message when trying to upload an image, but there is an error message displayed when trying to batch resize the image. Then when I try to open that Image, I get an 'Allowed memory size of 47185920 bytes exhausted'.. (instead of the error message mentioned above)
So i.log doesn't show any error messages, not even when trying to batch resize ('Generate multiple size images') the image, neither with ImageMagick nor with gd ..

I just tried to synchronize the database, and when I select 'reduce to single existing albums', it shows an error - with my old (private) folder that worked before the update, as well as with the new (public) folder.
First of all, I get a php notice: "Undefined index: 7 in /home/.sites/449/site2061/web/photo/admin/site_update.php on line 147".
Second, it says "[] PWG-UPDATE-1 (wrong filename)" and below that:
PWG-UPDATE-1: The name of directories and files must comprise only letters, numbers, "-", "_" or "."
PWG-ERROR-NO-FS: The file or directory cannot be accessed (either it does not exist or the access is denied)
The problems I have don't seem to be with the images themselves, as images that worked before the update don't work any more (as do all other images I've tried to upload/resize).
Hope that information helps any..
Thanks,

Some more news: just tried to upload a .png and a .gif file - and they both worked! So the error only seems to occur with .jpg files..

Huh strange..logged in as administrator, I can view the original image with the link you provided, rvelices.
And the jpg/png/gif-issue: I just realized, that both the png and the gif I tried to upload were really small, so problably ImageMagick didn't even try to resize them - I uploaded a small jpg just now, and that worked, too..

Found a solution!
I had to
1) find my hoster's the right ImageMagick path (which is /usr/bin/php_safemode/ )
2) turn off safe mode
Thanks to everybody for your help,
