I'm Anh, the author of the plugin `icy_picture_modify`.

I notice that when the Piwigo API service is called via Digikam, my plugin couldn't detect the user information. Actually, after the user is authenticated and start to upload image, the plugin can only see the global variable $user as a guest (whose user id is 2.)

My question is what is the correct way to detect Piwigo service user information?
