I though this implied you know how to add tags.

You can do it either directly on each image file by adding IPTC fields, then resync metadatas

Or in the Piwigo interface, on the admin page of each photo you can edit tags, this can also be done through the Batch Manager (Admin->Photos->Batch Manager)

Re: Related tags

1. Login to the admin part of the gallery.
2. Click on Batch Manager in the left hand menu.
3. Then depending on the amount of images you have you can use either single or global mode.
4. I am going to use Global Mode
5. Using the filters (I normally do it via album)
6. Then look for the image you want to tag.
7. Hover the mouse over the image.
8. Click edit.
9. Scroll down and you can add tags to images.

OR

1. Login to the Admin side of the gallery.
2. Click the link at the top of the page, should be the name of you gallery.
3. This takes you to your gallery home page.
4. Navagate to your image.
5. Click on a Icon (mine is of a screw driver and spanner) called Modify Information.
6. Add Tags to the image.
