Creating a custom home page for gallery

I am new to Piwigo and want to create a custom homepage for my gallery along the lines of those in demo1.

However, I am quite new to CSS etc and also can't figure out where to enter the code on the Admin page etc..it's not entirely clear at the moment.

Is there a beginners/how-to guide on how to create these customised pages?

Thank you

Hello
Read our documentation, under the Docs tab right on the top of any page of piwigo.org, as it's written in the forum rules

Re: Creating a custom home page for gallery

I've already tried reading the docs, but to be honest they are not very user-friendly.

For example, it is not clear where the code should be entered or whether a front page (separate design from other pages) needs to be saved as a theme, or is it done some other way?

Thanks

You will need to use the additional page plugin, to create the page. Then to apply custom CSS use the doc.
