[2.6.0RC2 Admin Tools] Plugin testing

Today I tried out the new Admin Tools Plugin.  I like the way it works.

I found one specific problem:
Every time I switch from the "X" to the "Crossed Tools" Icon and back again, the [b]whole[/b display moves up a line.
I am using Internet Explorer 11.

I think the default should be just the "Crossed Tools" Icon, not the whole Administration Tools display line.
I also think its position is unhelpful as it covers any left-justified heading.  Perhaps the top right corner would be better (and the Red "X" too)

I have briefly tried all the Administration menu options and they seem fine.
I like the "Tools" menu options, especially "View As" and "Theme".

With "Theme" I am having difficulty.  My "Stripped Theme" is not displaying properly - no Album Thumbnails or Images but I do see Photo Thumbnails.  I am not sure what is causing this.

I then discovered a problem - If "Tools" is set to a different Theme, this over-rides what you subsequently set for the User.  The only way to change the User back is via "Tools".
Shouldn't the Tools options only last for the current session and then revert back next time you access Piwigo?

The Album and Photo Admin Tools seem to work fine, especially the "Quick Edits" but I have only done a quick test!

Well done.

this is already solved in SVN repo

I don't agree for the default display but I make it configurable

but what about right-justified headings ? you can still tweak the display with local CSS

no problem for me, and I really see nothing which can induces this
do you have a online test case ?

I kept the operations of MultiView plugin, personally I don't know any way to detect "browser closing" from the server

Re: [2.6.0RC2 Admin Tools] Plugin testing

- The problem with Stripped came from "$.browser is not defined", and update ofthe theme will be needed for Piwigo 2.6

- I added three options for the plugin : "position of the closed button" (left, right), "open the toolbar by default", "allow photo owners to edit their photo even if they are not admin" (it controls the access to quick edit feature for normal users)

- it's indeed a good idea to erase miultiview config when closing the browser, I'll try to find a way
edit no I don't see any simple solution... as for current MultiView plugin one will have to logout and login again to reset the plugin

Re: [2.6.0RC2 Admin Tools] Plugin testing

Just a small suggestion:-

Could we have "Home" as the first option in the "Administration" list?

Also, but it is not important, should the last entry be "Configuration" not "Options", to be consistent?

Thanks for doing that.

I have now tested with the latest version of Admin Tools on v2.6.
The main 'floating' bug is fixed, which is great.
The Left/Right "Closed icon position" works fine for the Stripped Theme, thanks. (Smart Pocket is always 'Left')
However:
I am finding the "Open toolbar by default" option is curious.  It doesn't seem to work, perhaps because the way I last left the toolbar (Open with Red Cross or Closed with Crossed Tools) seems to over-ride this setting.

Does this apply to a User or to a Session on a particular computer (cookie)?

Re: [2.6.0RC2 Admin Tools] Plugin testing

The new Plugin "Admin Tools" is really cool! Thanks a lot

One question: It is possible to "Give access to quick edit to photo owners even if they are not admin". But maybe I'm blind - how can I change the owner status of a photo?

Thanks

Go to the edition page of the picture to change the owner

Thanks for the fast answer. Would be really helpful if this would be possible. Then I can give my users the possibility the edit there own photos.

Greetings
